We have designed the IP HOMENET™ System to cater for Past, Present and Future technology using a proven system of plug and patch modular racks. The Console is currently assembled and tested at our premises in the heart of Birmingham. The standard system has the expansion and facility to carry out numerous operations and has many unique functions.

The Console is designed to be mounted in a cupboard or in a secure area and by using interfacing cables connects to all your incoming services.
The main services being Terrestrial TV aerial, Sky box, Cable, Video, Hi Fi, DVD, CCTV Camera's, Computer Hubs, PSTN, ISDN, ADSL telephones lines and new emerging technology.

Using a system of rack mounted sockets a coloured coded patch cable can connect any service above any outlet below.

From your Console 48 (Standard) 72, or 96 socket outlets are star wired around the home using the latest ratified Cat5 E cable ensuring the required service is delivered to each socket.

THE AV MEDIA HUB EXPLAINED

The UHF signal from the aerial is input to (7) via the booster and internally routed to the row of eight sockets above. The link lead (3) then routes the signal into the Zone one decoder card. Patching a cable from (1) routes the Video, stereo sound and Infra Red to any outlet socket in the home. Connect a sky box and DVD to (4) and watch on respective channels AV1 or AV2. Connect cameras to (9) and set for pir activation to inform you if someone is in the garden or outside.

Each Zone card has the following control characteristics;
Programs up to 10 UHF TV set channels ranging from 21 to 69.
6 pre-set channels AV1 to AV6 for input devices.
6 pre-set channels for CCTV camera control including PIR activation.

The Standard 18U Console Shell
The shell is constructed of metal and coated to ensure it lasts a lifetime. The rear has two fixing plates for appropriate secure mounting.
The dimensions are 800mm High x 330mm Wide x 170mm Deep.
The sides have brushed entrance\exit slots for cable connectivity.
The front has fixings for up to 18 x 1U dedicated modular racks.
18u = Total possible amount of inserted rack u sizes added up.

7 x Metal Blank Racks.
These 1U racks are removable for future rack expansion.

1 x Brushed letterbox Cable Management Rack.
This 1U rack is installed to ensure all cables are kept tidy

1 x Telephone Line in - 4 ports out inc. 1 patch cable and adapter.
This 1U blue rack plugs in to the localised telephone socket and by using patch cables connects up to 4 telephones to any individual outlet location.

1 x Audio/Visual Media Hub complete with one TV zone card.
This 3U Media Hub rack comes complete with Power supply, aerial amplifier, 2 x AV input cables and 1 x Television Zone card kit.

2 x 24 Outlet Termination Racks.
Both 2U racks connect to the 48 cat5 E star wired outlets and provide the patching connection to the services.
