4 x 4 COUPLED-ZONE - 4 SOURCE HUB
The IP-AUDIO 4 is a (3U) x 4-zone, 8-room, 4-source Audio Distribution
Control Hub that fits into the Iphomenet Console for our older, current
and new installations using cat5 cable network distribution.
The system uses the IR repeating IP-A-KP EU Amplified Keypad and a suggested
IP-A-LRC-1 hand held remote to operate and control 4 or more IR audio
input devices patched to 4 separate zone areas. Each of the 4 zone areas
can support 2 Amplified Keypad Modules, making it possible to create a
4- zone, 8-room system. As in the Iphomenet tradition the system can be
designed to your own requirements by purchasing the following modular
items.
PLEASE NOTE - We recommend that stereo speaker and cat5e
cable is wired from the hub / console location to each keypad position,
then back to the distribution point. This will ensure different audio
systems can be utilised in the future.

The IP-A-PS is a 24 VDC power
supply connecting to the Power for A or B keypads
sockets on the IP-AUDIO 4 HUB.
1 x power unit is required for any keypads connected to A Zone.
1 x power unit is required for any keypads connected to B Zone.

The IP-ACT-1UK is a 12 Volt
DC triggered 230VAC 10amp switched outlet with re-settable circuit
breaker connecting to the Trigger Out port
on the IP-AUDIO 4 Hub.
The unit can switch on/off a connected multi power strip or single
component, enabling you to isolate the electrical equipment connected
to the system from any keypads using a IP-A-LRC1.

Requires a standard mono 3.5mm jackplug to 3.5mm jackplug.
Requires a standard 13A Plug to IEC320 (kettle type) plug lead.

The IP-A-KP EU
is an electronic volume, infrared control and high quality stereo
amplifier all in one simple to operate keypad.
The IP-A-KP EU can be mounted into a minimum 47mm deep Single gang
metal clad backbox (see PL-04342 @ £0.99p each) and connected
via a cat5 e cable to the Outputs A or B keypads on
the IP-AUDIO 4 Hub.
Stereo speakers are connected using IP-AW162CL3 audio cable and operated
using the on/off, volume keypad or a remote control handset allowing
additional source equipment selection.
Supplied with fixing back plate for clip on faceplates shown below.

The IP-A-LRC1 is a learning
infrared remote control handset designed for use with the IP-AUDIO
4 Hub and the IP-A-KP EU keypad.
The Remote control can operate up to seven source devices, using
pre-programmed technology for easy set-up and learn functions, Inclusive
audio/video library and Dedicated operation of audio system keypad
The IP-A-KP RC is a dedicated
infrared remote control for the IP-A-KP EU keypad and has Zone on/off,
Volume up/down for the basic functions.

The IP-845.1 is a single Infrared
control emitter connecting to the Source Specific Control
Data Ports 1-4 or Common Data on the IP-AUDIO
4 Hub. The emitter is attached to one Audio device enabling control
from any keypad.
The IP-1584.1 is dual Infrared
control emitter connecting as above. The emitter is attached to
two Audio devices and used when there are more sources than connections
on the Hub.
NOTE - Also used to control lighting switch IP-IRED-DIM01

The IP-AW162CL3 is a 2 conductor
speaker cable that is supplied in 305mtr boxes for Keypad to Speaker
connections.
Purple to Black patching cords (see
accessories) are used to patch from A/B ports to the outlet
racking on the Console Hub.

The IP-IRED-DIM01 is a 4 selectable infra-red channel 40 to 300
watts dimmer switch that can be installed in any room and operated
manually by touch or remote using a 4 button handset control.
The handset can be used from any room with a IP-A-KP EU keypad and
utilising a IP-845.1 or IP-1584.1 Infrared emitter placed over the
dimming switch at the hub position, allows the remote control of
one specific interior/exterior lighting zone.

The IP-IRED-DIM02 is a 4 press button infrared
channel handset and used to control the above switch. The hand set
allows on/off to last mood setting and hold/dim. The Infrared commands
are routed through the audio system via input keypads and output emitters
to control switches mounted next to the hub. |
