CCTV Camera Options

The UK's best selling Colour IR Day/Night Camera range. Offers clear vision during the day and night. With an x-vision DSP chip on board that switches the camera picture to B/W mode and turns on the integrated Infra Red LEDs when it detects that the environment is getting dark. Available with a choice of 4.0mm (50° wide view), 6mm (33° normal view), and 12mm (17° narrow view) lenses.

Excellent colour vision during the day or in a lit room and up to 10 metres vision in complete darkness (at night or when the lights are turned off), no additional light source is needed as the camera has built in Infra Red LEDs which turn on only when the camera switches to B/W (Night/Dark) mode.
Uses Blue Infra Red LEDs for longer life (1 Year Guarantee) and clearer picture quality than clear Infra Red LEDs
The camera emits infra red light when in night/dark mode, to the human eye this type of light is invisible, however to the camera the light is clearly visible, making it ideal for both covert use, and where neighbours or the environment (such as a busy road) may not allow the use of cameras with visible lighting

Line Level

Term for a Low-level Audio and Video signal sent over short connecting cables which link various components within an audio/video system. Line Level is not capable of powering speakers or screens without amplification but is preferred to Modulated signals.

A good example would be a Video or DVD connected to the Television Via Scart cables allowing the line level signals direct access to the television for amplification.
The alternative would be a Video or DVD modulating the picture onto a UHF carrier then connecting to the television via a coax cable. The television then has to tune and demodulate the carrier to view the picture as in the case before scart connections arrived.

The AV Hub to Television balancing electronics ensure the Stereo Audio and Composite video are distributed over 100 ohm Cat5e cable with negligible degradation and no need to modulate or demodulate signals to carrier as in the case of most alternative coax systems.

INPUT - The AV HUB Input Line level signals are routed from the DVD, Video, S.T.Box (Sky, Cable), Hi Fi, Camera's etc. using Scart, Phono AV or Cat5 connections.

PROCESS - The AV Hub processes the signals and the independent viewing zones select the required Line Level signals using the Infrared remote handsets.

OUTPUT - The AV HUB Output Zone Line Level signals are routed to the Television, Plasma, Hi Fi amplifier etc. using Scart, Phono AV or Cat5 connections.
